The was made in an online Altenew Craft Your Life Retreat. It was an extra card shown of the three required cards to be made.
It is an A2 white card with gold metallic cardstock border cut slightly smaller than the white folded card. Pink card stock then was embossed with an Altenew embossing folder. (I’ll have to look up the name of the folder.)
Part of the purpose of this card was to learn to emboss just part of the image in two places. In this case the top and bottom were to represent different parts of the image.
I didn’t do mine right because the instructions in the class had the diagonal washi tape but my tape also covers part of the embossed image.
This view shows more of the dynamic of the embossed image.
“Love you” was die cut from the Altenew die and a shadow image cut from vellum is placed behind the wording.
Rose Petal washi tape from Altenew is laid diagonally across the card. However, since my image wasn’t embossed quite correctly, it left the washi tape going over the raised image and buckling the tape.
