I think this is an adorable stamp to use for cards. I tried to make the bird into a chickadee but chickadees don’t have such fat tails. I have a myriad of birds out all my windows, and the chickadee is one of them who is almost always here. The stamp is by Woodware Craft Collection “Hanging Hearts.”
If I remember right, the chickadee is colored with Polychromos pencils. The hearts and holly leaves are done with Copic Markers. The smudge marks around the hearts is part of the stamp, and I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it. I used some glitter glaze on and around the hearts to try to simulate a dirty snow effect.
The Season’s Greetings is stamped directly onto the white card stock with red stamp ink, then embossed with red fine detail embossing powder.
Flat-backed red rhinestones were glued on where berries would be, and the whole white A2 card stock was glued onto a folded red A2 card. Some glitter glaze was also swathed over the sentiment.
