
Not being an artist doesn’t take away the fun I have in trying–well, maybe a teeny bit, but I like this image anyway. If you think of the work as being a representation of something instead of anything exact, the end work you created seems a lot more forgiving.

The flower is a stamped image using Altenew Obsidian black ink on a piece of Tim Holtz water color paper which was cut slightly smaller to allow the green border of the folded card to show.

I love cards which encourage. Yes, I do love snarky ones “almost” as much, but who in the world can’t use a little encouragement? So many of US try to be perfect, but how much enjoyment would it be if we were all Stepford Wives? People younger than I am may not remember that movie of a town with idealistic robot wives who were all perfect.
