18-Encouragement-followup 2 cat making bad ideas

Those “bad idea” times really can make some super memorable times–(notice I didn’t say some of the best times).

When I was very young in the last millennium, I always envisioned that I wanted to have as many experiences in life as possible so that when I was old, I’d be able to sit in my rocking chair, rock back and forth, and smile while thinking about all the memories I experienced in life.

I feel like I’ve had many memorable experiences; we do have rocking chairs outside on the deck, but I haven’t quite yet reached the point of just sitting while rocking back and forth. Maybe later.

This card was made using an A7 Kraft folded card with sort of ugly brown card stock over the Kraft card. I didn’t want to use background cardstock that was bright and cheerful–that’s why I said “ugly brown.”

A stencil which I’ve had forever (don’t know the brand) was placed over white card stock and daubed with grays, beiges, and brown dye inks.

I stamped the Katzelcraft cat image with black Distress Ink onto the stenciled background.

The Katzelcraft sentiment is also stamped with black. A few raindrop looking clear beads were glued randomly on the card.

I frayed the corner edges of the stenciled cardstock before adhering it to the rest of the card
